Today, we're highlighting one of SAFEhugg's most practical personal safety features: Call Out.
We've all been in situations where we wanted to leave without creating conflict or drawing attention.
Maybe it's a first date that isn't going as expected, a conversation that has become uncomfortable, a meeting that won't end, or a social gathering where something just doesn't feel right. Sometimes, you simply need a believable reason to excuse yourself.
That's exactly what Call Out is designed to do.
From the SAFEhugg app, tap Your Safety, then select Call Out.
After a 30-second delay, your phone rings with a simulated incoming call. When you answer, a pre-recorded voice delivers an urgent message saying you're needed immediately.
To those around you, it appears to be a genuine phone call, giving you a natural reason to step away without creating awkwardness or confrontation.
Call Out can be helpful in many everyday situations, including:
Because sometimes you don't need an emergency response.
You simply need an exit.
Many uncomfortable situations never become emergencies because people recognize something doesn't feel right and choose to leave.
Call Out makes that decision easier by giving you a simple, believable reason to step away confidently and naturally.
While features like the Alert Huggy Button, Buddy 4 Support, Trips, Places, Live Location Sharing, Hangouts, and Emergency Go help keep you connected and supported, Call Out helps you leave a situation before it becomes something more.
Together, SAFEhugg's features are designed to support you through everyday life, unexpected moments, and emergencies alike.
Because personal safety isn't always about responding after something happens.
Sometimes it's about recognizing when it's time to walk away.
Staying safe isn't just about protecting individuals. It's also about creating safer environments where people work, visit, and connect.
Next week, we'll explore Zones, a powerful SAFEhugg feature that helps businesses and organizations create location-based safety networks for employees, contractors, and authorized users. We'll show how Zones helps organizations stay connected, improve situational awareness, and provide an added layer of support when it matters most.
